Transfer of CRPF Land

Government has approved exchange of 2.3 hectares land belonging to CRPF with Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) in lieu of an equal land for development of a Multi-Modal International Hub Airport at Nagpur. Order for the transfer of land has been issued by Ministry of Home Affairs on 14.5.2015.

This was stated by the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju in a written reply to a question by Dr. Kirit Somaiya in the Lok Sabha.
