Bajaj Finance pips HDFC in m-cap race, now eighth-most valued stock

Bajaj Finance on Tuesday beat mortgage lender HDFC in terms of market capitalisation (m-cap) to become the eighth-most valued stock on the BSE. 

At Tuesday’s closing price, the Bajaj group firm had an m-cap of Rs 4.31 trillion, while HDFC was valued at Rs 4.24 trillion.
