Shares of Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL), Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) and Container Corporation of India (Concor) rallied up to 14 per cent on the BSE on Tuesday after group of secretaries cleared disinvestment proposal of these public sector companies.
Individually, SCI surged the most, adding 14 per cent, to trade at Rs 49.30 on the BSE in early morning trade. BPCL, on the other hand, soared 9 per cent to hit a new high of Rs 512 at the bourses. Concor, too, hit a 52-week high of Rs 644, up 6 per cent in intra-day so far.
