Maize prices in Nizamabad are trading at Rs 1,505 a quintal. Prices are expected to trade towards Rs 1,470 a quintal in the next couple of weeks, due to early harvesting in Telangana and subdued demand from end-users.
Turmeric prices in the Nizamabad market are currently trading at Rs 7,767 a quintal. Demand is expected to improve on festive season buying. Also, there are concerns over the crop in Tamil Nadu due to lower rains earlier. Prices are expected to move towards Rs 7,850 a quintal.
