Moser Baer gains on winning solar contracts in 3 states

The company won contracts in rooftop solar panel installation scheme in states of Kerela, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan

 

Moser Baer has gained around 5% to Rs 9.73 on BSE after winning contracts in rooftop solar panel installation scheme in states of Kerela, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan.
 
With these contracts, Moser Baer Solar has emerged as the lead player in the state run programs for rooftop solar installation, according to company's report to BSE.
 
"Having pioneered and lead the multi megawatt grid tier segment, now we are working with the state nodal agencies to solarise Indian homes, “said CEO of the company  Vivek  Chaturvedi.
 
The stock opened at Rs 9.39 and has hit a high of Rs 9.90 till 10:53 hrs and in total around 1.5 million shares have changed hands on BSE and NSE.
