Dewan Housing Finance hits 52-week high on JP Morgan stake buy

On November 17, JP Morgan Sec A/C Copthall Mauritius Invest Ltd acquired 9,00,000 shares of Dewan Housing at Rs 394.

Dewan Housing Finance is trading 2% higher at Rs 427 on National Stock Exchange (NSE) after JP Morgan bought 900,000 shares of the company from the open market.

On November 17, JP Morgan Sec A/C Copthall Mauritius Invest Ltd acquired 9,00,000 shares of housing finance company at Rs 394, the NSE bulk deal data shows.

Caledonia Investments PLC sold 17,95,000 shares, representing 1.4% stake of  Dewan Housing Finance Corporation  at Rs 394.03 on the NSE.

As on September 30, 2014, Caledonia Investments PLC held 5,710,685 or 4.44% stake in the company, the shareholding pattern data shows.

The name of the other buyers have not disclosed by the company.

The stock opened at Rs 425 and touched a 52-week high of Rs 428 on NSE. A combined 214,160 shares changed hands on the counter in early morning deals on NSE and BSE.
