Wall St slips on economic woes; ADRs tumble

The Wall Street tumbled on Wednesday a day after US Presidentail election on the back of economic worries. The Dow Industrial Average plummetted 486 points to 9,139. The Nasdaq tumbled 98 points to 1,682.

The Indian ADRs, too, ended with deep cuts. Tata Communications crashed almost 14% to $19.68. ICICI Bank slumped 12% to $17.14, and HDFC Bank plunged nearly 11% to $66.08. Sterlite, MTNL and Tata Motors have shed around 8-10% each.

Infosys slipped nearly 8% to $27.61. Patni Computers declined over 6%. Genpact, Satyam, Wipro and Dr.Reddy's were down over 4% each.
