Bangladesh:Train veers off track in Natore,rail service disrupted

Train services between Dhaka and Dinajpur were partially disrupted today following the derailment of a train in Lalpur Upazila of Natore, in Bangladesh.

Three bogies and the engine of the Dinajpur-bound train from Dhaka veered off the tracks near Abdulpur junction around 8:30am, Saidur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Ishwardi Railway Police Station in Pabna, reported The Daily Star.

The loco master might drove the train on wrong line due to dense fog.

A relief train reached the spot around 11:00am. Train operation between Dhaka and Dinajpur was stopped in four lines. Among five lines only one was operational.
