Hollywood actor Ben Schwartz has some speedy shoes to fill as the star will now voice the title character, Sonic, in 'Sonic the Hedgehog' movie.
The movie will be directed by Oscar-nominated director, Jeff Fowler, and will be a blend live-action with computer graphic elements, confirmed Variety.
The live-action and animation hybrid film will be based on the SEGA video game character, which was introduced in 1991. The other characters from the games include Tails and Knuckles, and Doctor Eggman Robotnik.
The film also stars James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Jim Carrey and is scheduled to hit the theaters on November 15, 2019.
