Bill Gates has taken a bucket of ice water over the head in the name of charity after Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg laid down the challenge before him.
The Ice Bucket Challenge dares someone to either get soaked in the water or donate money to a charity for Lou Gehrig's Disease.
People who accept the challenge often end up getting soaked as well as making the charity, reports the Verge.
Bill Gates joined the growing list of people who have taken the challenge.
