The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to put its stand aggressively on the JNU row in the ongoing Budget Session to counter the Opposition.
The issue was discussed at the BJP Parliamentary party executive meeting in the national capital this evening which was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to sources, BJP President Amit Shah and Union Ministers Arun Jaitely and Venkaiah Naidu talked in detail about the controversy besides legal aspects.
Later, NDA allies also held a meeting where the JNU issue came up for discussion.
Shah briefed the alliance leaders about the issue. During both the meetings, a presentation was made over the achievements of the government.
Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the meetings also discussed about the ways to ensure smooth functioning of the Parliament.
