Prime Minister Narendra Modi's demonetisation effect is now having an impact on wedding arrangements. A Muslim family in Surat has taken this announcement in a positive way, printing the invitation card in cheque book style under the name of 'Bank of Love'.

The Ansari family has made their daughter's wedding different from others, and the intention behind this decision is to make people aware about the benefits of having a cashless economy. December 17 is scheduled to be the wedding date.

At one end, wedding celebrations across the country are facing a cash crunch, but this Surat family has shown the brighter side of the note ban.

"Narendra Modi's decision of demonetisation is a laudable effort. I have printed this to spread awareness," said Nazeem Ansari, the father of the bride.

"I m delighted by my father's initiative that made my wedding memorable as the invitation card is made in cheque style," said Afreen, his daughter.

This is first instance where cheque book style wedding card has been released, what makes it is the motive behind this decision, which is to promote use of digital payment and making people aware about cashless economy.

By converting the big fat wedding plan into an awareness drive, Ansari has set an example and showed the world that in the end, it is the way you look at the situation that matters.
