Ellie Goulding has recently opened up about her former boyfriend Dougie Poynter, saying that the 'Love Is Easy' hit-maker is the most special person in the world.
In an interview, the 29-year-old singer said that Poynter is still one of her best friends, adding that she is sure that he too feels the same, the Mirror reports,.
"Dougie is a really special person. He's one of the most special people in the world and I'm so happy for him he's doing so well in LA and he's still one of my best friends and I know he feels the same," she said.
Goulding and Poynter, who dated for two years, parted ways last month with their work commitments keeping them in different countries.
