Encounter between security forces, terrorists in Batamaloo area

An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Batamaloo area of Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar in the wee hours of Sunday.

No report of casualties or injuries has been reported as yet in the ongoing encounter.

The valley has witnessed a sudden surge in the encounter incidents since past few months.

On August 9, at least five terrorists were gunned down by the security forces in an encounter in Rafiabad in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district.
