Dong Nguyen, creator of the Flappy Bird app has reportedly tweeted that he is pulling the game today.
The app, deemed as the worst smartphone game ever by some, has been making 50,000 dollars a day in ad revenue.
Nguyen in his tweet yesterday apologized to 'Flappy Bird' users for taking down the app and said that he wanted space, adding that the Press has been overrating the success of his games, which he never wanted, Cnet reported.
Meanwhile, following alleged similarities of his game with the others, Nguyen cleared that legal issues weren't behind his decision.
He also said that the game was not up for sale, though he said that he would still continue making games.
