Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Yogendra Yadav on Wednesday said his party is like an 'infant' still learning, and expressed confidence that it would emerge stronger after the national executive meeting.
"Today is a big day. What appears as a problem is actually an opportunity to move forward. Aam Aadmi Party is an infant, we are still learning. I am confident that by today evening, we will be able to tell you all that the AAP has moved one step forward and not back. This party exists because of its volunteers, and volunteers have collectively said that the party must stay united," Yadav said.
When asked about Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's resignation as party convenor, he said, "I won't comment on it unless I see it myself. When the matter came up last time, the party's national executive had unanimously rejected Arvind Kejriwal's resignation."
Kejriwal has resigned as the party's convenor ahead of the national executive meeting scheduled to take place later in the day.
The AAP is embroiled in an ugly internal strife barely a month after forming a majority government in Delhi.

AAP leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan are likely to be asked to put forth their clarifications in the party's national executive meeting due to take place today.
There is unconfirmed speculation that the duo may be eased out of the national executive, which is the AAP's top policy body.
The decision, if carried out, would mean that Bhushan and Yadav would cease to be decision makers in a party that is sure to expand its wings in the country once it cements its foundation in Delhi.
There are reports of a majority of the national executive being in favour of the ouster of the duo, as they feel both have brought a bad name to the AAP by talking about the lack of so-called internal democracy in the party.
