'It took lot of therapy to get over Russell Brand', says Katy Perry

Katy Perry has revealed that getting over her divorce from Russell Brand took a lot of therapy.

The 'Roar' singer told Cosmopolitan Magazine that she happened to be attracted to high-frequency men, the Daily Star reported.

The 29-year-old singer said that sometimes one had to go through all that sh** to get their grips on life, and figure out what their next boundaries in their love life and world were going to be.

Perry added that one had to go through the mud in order to find that peaceful place and in the long run, it was necessary for her to have more of a teammate.
