Karnataka: Eight school children killed in road mishap in Kundapur

At least eight school children were killed and 12 other injured in a tragic accident that took place at Trasi village, coming under Gangolli Police Station limits, of Karnataka's Kundapur district on Tuesday morning.

The accident took place at Mohadi Cross near when a private bus, plying from Byndoor to Kundapur, collided with a Maruti Omni van carrying children of Don Bosco School.

In the accident the driver, as well as a teacher, has also sustained injuries.

The Gangolli police have registered a case in this regard. More details are awaited.
