Leonardo DiCaprio set to star in Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's 'The Revenant'

Leonardo DiCaprio is set to work with Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu for a period revenge thriller titled 'The Revenant'.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 39-year-old American actor will be starring in the film which is based on Michael Punke's novel and will begin filming in September.

The script has been written by Mark L. Smith and the Mexican film director and is set to release in 2015 through New Regency's distribution deal with 20th Century Fox.
