One dead in Chennai amusement park mishap

One person was killed and nine others were injured in an accident in Chennai's Kishkinta Amusement Park on Wednesday evening.

According to reports, the mishap took place on a Ferris wheel and speculations are that it was due to some technical glitch.

The injured have been admitted to Deepam Hospital in the city's Tambaram area. Seven of the injured persons are said to be amusement park employees.
