Parrikar meets J-K CM Mufti in Srinagar

Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar met Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed here on Friday.

Earlier today, Parrikar was briefed by Lt Gen Subrata Saha, the General Officer Commanding of 15 Corps, on the measures that are being taken by the army to prevent infiltration in the area.

Parrikar also met Jammu and Kashmir Governor N.N. Vohra in Srinagar.

Parrikar, who is presently on a two-day official visit to Army formations of Northern Command, would be visiting the Nagrota based White Knight Corps tomorrow.
