Prince sued by Sony for poaching 'The Voice' contestant

US singer Prince is getting sued by Sony and the producer who discovered Lady Gaga for allegedly poaching Judith Hill, a former contestant on 'The Voice'.

The Grammy Award winning singer produced an album with Hill titled 'Back In Time' which was released for free online recently. TMZ.com reported.

According to reports, Sony and producer Jolene Cherry signed Hill to an exclusive recording deal.

Cherry is now going after the 56-year-old singer asking not only for regular damages but punitive damages for underhandedness.
