Arjen Robben displayed a stellar performance as he provided two assists and netted a goal to steer Bayern Munich to a 4-1 win over Cologne in their Bundesliga tie on Friday at Allianz Arena.

Veteran midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger gave an early advantage for Munich in the 3rd minute as he scored through a stunning header before Frank Ribery doubled their lead seven minutes later.

Cologne tried to stage a comeback as Anthony Ujah's header before the break gave the team a slight hope.

Subsequently, Robben headed home from a Ribbery cross in the 67th minute before setting up Robert Lewandowksi to give Munich an unassailable 4-1 lead.

With the win, Munich have extended their lead to eleven points as they stay clear on top of the points table.
