State Education Boards to declare Class 12 results by May 31

The State Education Boards have agreed to declare Class 12 result by May 31 every year.

The suggestion was given by the Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry to avoid delays in counseling for admissions to centrally funded technical institutes through Joint Entrance Examination.

Delay in declaring results by state boards this year had led to the postponement of the counseling for admission to NITs, IITs and other centrally funded technical institutes.
