The United States has condemned the appalling terror attack in Lahore, Pakistan, terming it as 'cowardly', and vowed to work with Islamabad to defeat those sowing terror in the country.
"This heinous attack in a crowded park in Lahore has killed dozens of innocent civilians and left scores injured," National Security Council spokesman Ned Price said in a White House statement, reports the Dawn.
Price added that U.S. will continue to work with partners in Pakistan and across the region efforts to root out the scourge of terrorism.
