Capital Goods shares gain

Capital Goods stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Capital Goods index rising 197.6 points or 1.06% at 18841.18 at 09:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (up 9.67%), Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd (up 2.36%),NBCC (India) Ltd (up 1.96%),Carborundum Universal Ltd (up 1.77%),Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (up 1.49%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd (up 1.23%), Sadbhav Engineering Ltd (up 1.06%), V-Guard Industries Ltd (up 1.02%), Havells India Ltd (up 0.44%), and Schaeffler India Ltd (up 0.43%).

On the other hand, SKF India Ltd (down 2.43%), Graphite India Ltd (down 1.26%), and ABB India Ltd (down 0.75%) moved lower.

 

At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 61.97 or 0.16% at 39893.81.

The Nifty 50 index was up 22.25 points or 0.19% at 11809.1.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 45.39 points or 0.34% at 13428.99.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 5.65 points or 0.12% at 4598.76.

On BSE,885 shares were trading in green, 538 were trading in red and 73 were unchanged.
