Consumer Durables shares rise

Consumer Durables stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index rising 83.47 points or 0.33% at 25756.95 at 09:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (up 2.84%), Whirlpool of India Ltd (up 0.93%), TTK Prestige Ltd (up 0.58%), V I P Industries Ltd (up 0.56%), Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 0.19%), and Voltas Ltd (up 0.12%), were the top gainers.

On the other hand, Orient Electric Ltd (down 0.69%), Symphony Ltd (down 0.69%), and Blue Star Ltd (down 0.17%) moved lower.

At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 18.9 or 0.05% at 41913.66.

 

The Nifty 50 index was down 4.65 points or 0.04% at 12350.85.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 28.89 points or 0.2% at 14676.43.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 3.14 points or 0.06% at 5018.27.

On BSE,890 shares were trading in green, 573 were trading in red and 78 were unchanged.
