Consumer Durables shares gain
Consumer Durables stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index rising 255.77 points or 1.02% at 25335.29 at 09:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Voltas Ltd (up 1.86%), Titan Company Ltd (up 1.76%), Bajaj Electricals Ltd (up 1.38%), V I P Industries Ltd (up 0.3%), Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 0.21%), and Blue Star Ltd (up 0.15%), were the top gainers.
On the other hand, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (down 0.96%), Whirlpool of India Ltd (down 0.57%), and TTK Prestige Ltd (down 0.08%) moved lower.
At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 70.18 or 0.17% at 40920.47.
The Nifty 50 index was up 19.9 points or 0.17% at 12063.1.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 20.44 points or 0.15% at 13473.23.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 2.66 points or 0.06% at 4731.72.
On BSE,813 shares were trading in green, 562 were trading in red and 75 were unchanged.
