Consumer Durables shares fall

Consumer Durables stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index falling 312.37 points or 1.37% at 22456.93 at 13:50 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, V I P Industries Ltd (down 3.71%), Titan Company Ltd (down 2.11%),Symphony Ltd (down 1.6%),Rajesh Exports Ltd (down 1.29%),Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (down 1.11%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Bajaj Electricals Ltd (down 0.95%), Voltas Ltd (down 0.44%), and Blue Star Ltd (down 0.24%).

On the other hand, Whirlpool of India Ltd (up 1.19%), and TTK Prestige Ltd (up 0.7%) moved up.

 

At 13:50 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 125.61 or 0.34% at 36688.52.

The Nifty 50 index was up 29.05 points or 0.27% at 10826.95.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 6.69 points or 0.05% at 12363.13.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 5.6 points or 0.13% at 4179.75.

On BSE,1065 shares were trading in green, 1162 were trading in red and 151 were unchanged.
