Consumer Durables shares rise
Consumer Durables stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index rising 178.48 points or 0.71% at 25330.12 at 09:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Whirlpool of India Ltd (up 1.63%), Titan Company Ltd (up 1.26%), Symphony Ltd (up 0.73%), Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (up 0.7%), V I P Industries Ltd (up 0.59%), and Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 0.11%), were the top gainers.
On the other hand, Blue Star Ltd (down 0.58%), Orient Electric Ltd (down 0.47%), and TTK Prestige Ltd (down 0.4%) moved lower.
At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 157.01 or 0.37% at 41795.62.
The Nifty 50 index was down 57 points or 0.46% at 12305.3.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 23.55 points or 0.16% at 14407.26.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 2.49 points or 0.05% at 4934.62.
On BSE,673 shares were trading in green, 720 were trading in red and 68 were unchanged.
