Consumer Durables stocks rise

Consumer Durables stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index increasing 206.66 points or 0.87% at 24080.92 at 09:45 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Titan Company Ltd (up 1.81%), Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 1.42%), and Blue Star Ltd (up 0.79%), were the top gainers.

On the other hand, TTK Prestige Ltd (down 2.27%), V I P Industries Ltd (down 0.58%), and Whirlpool of India Ltd (down 0.48%) turned lower.

At 09:45 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 119.46 or 0.32% at 37003.85.

The Nifty 50 index was down 34 points or 0.31% at 10969.5.

 

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 33.5 points or 0.26% at 13129.56.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 5.37 points or 0.12% at 4337.81.

On BSE,862 shares were trading in green, 472 were trading in red and 52 were unchanged.
