Turnover drops
Nifty August 2014 futures were at 7882, near spot closing of 7875.30. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 166911.92 crore from Rs 217058.13 crore on Tuesday, 19 August 2014.
Tata Steel August 2014 futures were at 547, at a premium over spot closing of 544.70.
State Bank of India (SBI) August 2014 futures were at 2411, near spot closing of 2410.
Arvind August 2014 futures were at 251.50, near spot closing of 251.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty declined 22.20 points or 0.28% to settle at 7,875.30, its lowest closing level since 18 August 2014.
The August 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 28 August 2014.
