Petronet LNG leads gainers in 'A' group

Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries, TV18 Broadcast and Reliance Communications are among the other gainers.

Petronet LNG, which is engaged in regasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG), jumped 5.80% to Rs 135.05. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.

Tata Steel galloped 4.58% to Rs 356.30. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Aluminium rolling company Hindalco Industries spurted 4.44% to Rs 119.95. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Media firm TV18 Broadcast climbed 4.33% to Rs 24.10. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani-controlled Reliance Communications rose 3.92% to Rs 122. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
