Quick Wrap: Nifty PSE Index registers a drop of 3.08%

Nifty PSE index closed down 3.08% at 3013.45 today. The index has lost 7.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Bharat Electronics Ltd fell 10.02%, Oil India Ltd shed 6.19% and Oil & Natural Gas Corpn Ltd slipped 5.75%. The Nifty PSE index has decreased 6.00% over last one year compared to the 10.44% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Energy index has slid 2.66% and Nifty Metal index has dropped 2.28% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 0.61% to close at 11962.1 while the SENSEX has declined 0.54% to close at 40694.24 today.
