Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 2.41%

Nifty Realty index closed up 2.41% at 237.6 today. The index has gained 7.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Oberoi Realty Ltd added 5.76%, Godrej Properties Ltd gained 5.22% and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd fell 2.98%. The Nifty Realty index has fallen 26.00% over last one year compared to the 7.53% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Pharma index has dropped 2.40% and Nifty Metal index added 2.03% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.06% to close at 10883.75 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.13% to close at 36241 today.
