Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 2.83%

Nifty Realty index closed up 2.83% at 279.95 today. The index has gained 0.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd added 7.37%, Oberoi Realty Ltd rose 7.12% and Sunteck Realty Ltd jumped 4.28%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 4.00% over last one year compared to the 6.48% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Pharma index gained 2.70% and Nifty Infrastructure index increased 1.41% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has slid 0.02% to close at 11555.9 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.03% to close at 38730.82 today.
