Real Estate shares rise

Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 34.52 points or 2.39% at 1480.3 at 09:53 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 10.5%), Sobha Ltd (up 4.99%),Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 4.99%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 1.38%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 0.91%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Godrej Properties Ltd (up 0.55%), Omaxe Ltd (up 0.39%), and DLF Ltd (up 0.15%).

On the other hand, Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 0.8%), and Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 0.01%) moved lower.

At 09:53 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 101.09 or 0.32% at 31689.81.

 

The Nifty 50 index was up 12.65 points or 0.14% at 9279.4.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 114.75 points or 1.06% at 10915.66.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 42.44 points or 1.12% at 3839.19.

On BSE,1069 shares were trading in green, 596 were trading in red and 66 were unchanged.
