Real Estate stocks rise
Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index increasing 39.03 points or 1.72% at 2305.48 at 09:47 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 5.01%), Sobha Ltd (up 2.7%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 2.28%),Godrej Properties Ltd (up 1.89%),DLF Ltd (up 1.82%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 1.58%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 0.76%), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 0.46%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.1%).
At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 409.22 or 1% at 41226.96.
The Nifty 50 index was up 131.1 points or 1.09% at 12156.45.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 170.94 points or 1.23% at 14044.91.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 56.51 points or 1.18% at 4840.01.
On BSE,1228 shares were trading in green, 237 were trading in red and 72 were unchanged.
