Real Estate shares rise

Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 49.1 points or 2.31% at 2173.04 at 09:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 7.35%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 3.53%),Sobha Ltd (up 3.52%),DLF Ltd (up 2.92%),Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 2.05%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Godrej Properties Ltd (up 1.39%), and Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.17%).

On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 2.38%), and Omaxe Ltd (down 0.28%) moved lower.

At 09:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 495.35 or 1.3% at 38639.37.

 

The Nifty 50 index was up 177.95 points or 1.6% at 11310.7.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 225.59 points or 1.66% at 13829.55.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 83.04 points or 1.77% at 4785.55.

On BSE,1111 shares were trading in green, 389 were trading in red and 62 were unchanged.
