Real Estate shares slide
Real Estate stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index falling 5.83 points or 0.27% at 2122.57 at 13:47 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 3.3%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 2.93%), Godrej Properties Ltd (down 0.92%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 0.9%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 0.68%), and Omaxe Ltd (down 0.24%), were the top losers.
On the other hand, DLF Ltd (up 1.15%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.72%), and Sobha Ltd (up 0.35%) moved up.
At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 278.11 or 0.69% at 40564.59.
The Nifty 50 index was up 70.6 points or 0.59% at 11942.7.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 11.93 points or 0.09% at 13355.61.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 24.51 points or 0.53% at 4659.03.
On BSE,1116 shares were trading in green, 1294 were trading in red and 136 were unchanged.
