Real Estate shares rise
Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 40.19 points or 1.8% at 2272.33 at 09:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 4.27%), DLF Ltd (up 2.56%),Godrej Properties Ltd (up 2.34%),Sobha Ltd (up 1.8%),Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 1.35%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 1.34%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 1.33%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.96%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.06%).
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 0.24%), moved lower.
At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 522.11 or 1.28% at 41198.74.
The Nifty 50 index was up 155.7 points or 1.3% at 12148.75.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 211.94 points or 1.55% at 13927.12.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 70.64 points or 1.49% at 4805.25.
On BSE,1262 shares were trading in green, 243 were trading in red and 56 were unchanged.
