Real Estate stocks edge lower
Real Estate stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index decreasing 14.98 points or 0.69% at 2151.55 at 13:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 4.41%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 1.59%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 1.31%),DLF Ltd (down 1.21%),Sobha Ltd (down 0.99%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Godrej Properties Ltd (down 0.79%), and Omaxe Ltd (down 0.03%).
On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 3.39%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.47%), and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 0.25%) turned up.
At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 6.25 or 0.02% at 40800.06.
The Nifty 50 index was down 9.7 points or 0.08% at 12046.35.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 54.76 points or 0.4% at 13505.81.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 24.57 points or 0.52% at 4737.21.
On BSE,940 shares were trading in green, 1401 were trading in red and 188 were unchanged.
