Volumes jump at Bharti Airtel counter

Excel Crop Care, Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare, MphasiS and Huhtamaki PPL are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 3 November 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 75.91 points, or 0.23% to 33,649.13.

Bharti Airtel clocked volume of 18.56 crore shares by 13:38 IST on BSE, a 287.89-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 6.45 lakh shares. The stock rose 1.23% to Rs 549.80.

Excel Crop Care notched up volume of 33,000 shares, a 59.17-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 15.80% to Rs 2,045.

 

Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare saw volume of 6,000 shares, a 34.99-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 174 shares. The stock rose 0.52% to Rs 8,830.05.

MphasiS clocked volume of 2.51 lakh shares, a 30.41-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 8,000 shares. The stock rose 1.32% to Rs 705.70.

Huhtamaki PPL saw volume of 1.59 lakh shares, a 24.47-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 7,000 shares. The stock rose 12.54% to Rs 302.50.
