Sangam (India) clocked volume of 20.31 lakh shares by 13:39 IST on BSE, a 45.66-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 44,000 shares. The stock was locked at 20% upper circuit at Rs 97.20.
Alembic Pharmaceuticals notched up volume of 6.96 lakh shares, a 33.03-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 21,000 shares. The stock rose 2.9% at Rs 526.75.
JBF Industries saw volume of 3.46 lakh shares, a 16.29-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 21,000 shares. The stock rose 2.19% at Rs 237.50.
Igarashi Motors India clocked volume of 1.93 lakh shares, a 14.51-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock jumped 15.51% at Rs 494.40.
Bengal & Assam Company saw volume of 1.11 lakh shares, a 10.73-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock rose 0.21% at Rs 514.90.
