14 killed in Afghanistan accident
At least 14 persons were killed and 41 injured in an accident in Afghanistan's Farah province on Sunday, police said.
"A bus travelling from Herat province to Kabul crashed into a parked cargo truck in Gulshan district," Xinhua news agency quoted a police official as saying.
A total of 57 persons were aboard the vehicle.
The police have detained the driver of the truck and launched an investigation into the incident.
