Bribery complaint against former AIMPLB member

A complaint was lodged against former (AIMPLB) member Maulana here on Thursday for allegedly demanding a Rs 5,000 crore as bribe to get the dispute solved in favour of the Hindus, police said.

He also said that the meeting was held at the Nadwa seminary in presence of Haji Masroor Khan, who has endorsed the charges.

Police said they were probing the matter and appropriate action would be taken after that.
