A dreaded sharp shooter and contract killer of underworld don Chota Shakeel was arrested in Delhi, police said on Friday.
Junaid Choudhary, a close associate of the underworld don, was arrested late on Thursday night on a tip off when he came near Gagan Cinema in Bhagirath Vihar Phase I area of west Delhi.
According to police, Choudhary was the main person who supplied illegal fire arms to other gang members of Shakeel and criminals linked with the underworld.
Choudhary continued to stay in touch with underworld criminals after he was released on bail from jail, police said.
"Chaudhary, who is famous as a supari (contract) killer in the underworld, was in June last year arrested by Delhi Police from Dilshad Garden when he along with his three associates, Rozar Robinson, Yunis and Manish were going to eliminate Swami Chakrapani in Ghaziabad," a senior police officer told IANS.

"Last year he had taken the contract of killing Swami Chakrapani. He continued to stay in touch with Shakeel. We are interrogating him to ascertain his new crime plan and new target," the official said.
