Daniel James joins Manchester United on 5-year deal

Manchester United have announced the signing of from second-tier City.

He will join the Premiership side for the next five seasons, with an option to extend the contract for one more year, reports news.

Neither of the clubs has revealed the financial details but estimated it was a 15 million pounds ($19.1 million) deal.

"Manchester United is delighted to confirm the signing of from City, subject to international clearance," the club said on its website on Wednesday.

"The 21-year-old international made his professional debut for City in February 2018 and his senior debut in November 2018, having previously represented the nation at various youth levels."
