New Zealand registered a came from behind 2-2 draw against Spain in Pool A match of the Hockey World Cup here on Thursday.

Spain's Albert Beltran (ninth minute) and Alvaro Iglesias (27th minute) scored in the first half to put their team ahead.

But New Zealand's Hayden Phillips (50th minute) and Kane Russell's (56th minute) strike helped their team register a thrilling draw.
