Illegal abattoirs won't be allowed to run in MP: CM

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday said illegal slaughterhouses in the state will not be allowed to function.

Speaking at a religious event in Mohankheda in Dhar district, Chouhan also called for humane treatment of animals and adherence to the path of non-violence.

The Chief Minister said his government was running campaigns to save rivers, environment and the girl child in Madhya Pradesh.
